Caverta is one of the drugs for overcoming erectile dysfunction. It belongs to the group of PDE-5 inhibitors widely used for treatment of erectile problems. The maximum recommended dose is 100 mg once per day. Do not exceed this amount in order to avoid overdose.

Caverta is to be taken orally with a glass of water. If it is taken after a heavy meal rich in fats manifestation of drug’s action may be postponed.

Caverta may cause some side effects, mostly mild. Common adverse effects after taking Caverta include headache, facial flushing, dyspepsia and nasal congestion, slight low in blood pressure.

Severe side effects such as vision loss or persistent erection are extremely rare and are usually provoked by an overdose or violating doctor’s prescription. If your erection lasts more than 4 hours, you should seek medical aid immediately as such state can cause serious long-term harm to your penis.

The first thing you need to do before starting treatment with Caverta is to have a medical consultation with your doctor. Provide your general practitioner with the information about all the medications you are currently taking and your current health situation.
